At the age of four Kellie began taking acting classes and landed her first stage role at the age of six, in a regional production entitled \u201cCousins.<strong>\u201d<\/strong> <img class=\"alignright\" alt=\"Kel\" src=\"http:\/\/kellieswilliams.com\/wp-content\/gallery\/photo-gallery\/promo2.jpg\" \/>\r\n\r\nAfter joining the Howard University Children\u2019s Theater, Kellie began acting in commercials and theater. From that point, she\u2019s amassed an impressive list of theater credits, including roles in \u201cJoe Turner\u2019s Come and Gone,\u201d \u201cButterfinger\u2019s Angel,\u201d \u201cColored Museum,\u201d \u201cGoin\u2019 Home,\u201d and \u201cThe Bacchae,\u201d in which she performed highly acclaimed vocals.\r\n\r\nA home video created by her dad won her the role as Laura Winslow on the sitcom \u201cFamily Matters\u201d (1989-1998). Through this role Kellie won the hearts of many across America. Over the years Kellie has been nominated for many awards for her performances.\r\n\r\nAfter Family Matters, Kellie continued her career in acting and producing. In 2001, she starred in the ABC sitcom \u201cWhat About Joan\u201d with Joan Cusack. Kellie also served as a celebrity guest host for Niecy Nash on the hit show Clean House (2009). Kellie was also the co-executive producer of\u00a0 \u201cBlessed and Cursed\u201d. (2010).\r\n\r\nKellie is a woman of many hats, but these days her lists began with devoted wife and mother. Kellie is married to Hannibal Jackson and they have two beautiful children Hannah Belle and John Ervin Jackson.\r\n\r\nIn her spare time Kellie enjoys public speaking and participating in a variety of charitable activities. Kellie has received several honors for her commitment to be a positive influence in her community.
